I have had a holiday home on Marlie holiday park for 29 years. I have been to other sites around Kent and still rate Marlie as the best. There are things that sometimes pee me off, like not all the people in the "Let" holiday homes, respect them. The staff here are the best too, nothing is too much trouble, always polite and helpful. Yes I vote Marlie as brilliant.
To be honest some of the reviews put me and my husband of staying at this place, and I will be honest there's definitely room for improvement in quite a few areas we stayed in one of the static caravans ,the caravan itself wasn't too bad this sight is more family oriented rather than middle aged couples like ourselves so we will not stay here again unless we take our grandchildren with us but without question this place needs a little tidy up here and there ..
The men's toilet s in the touring section were surprisingly kept to an OK standard. Always tissue, hot water. I was half expecting poo and tissue to be everywhere. Tent pitch was cool
Excellent place to stay. Some lovely static caravan. Staff are very pleasant. Entertainment and food first class with many discounted or free facilities. Nice location, not far from the beach. Truly excellent.
A great campsite I have camped here lots. It's an ideal first time camping site that has an easy find pitch area. You can have electric or non electric pitches. It's very open so great for sun bathing or for kids to play games. Prices are very reasonable and the staff on site are always friendly. The site has very clean wash facilities and toilets and it also has a fantastic club house with entertainment and a large playground for the kids complete with arcade and pool tables. The site is a nice walk from the camping area allowing a peaceful nights sleep.
