I'm sure that this would score higher than one star if I could comment on the quality of the food, but I cannot as my visit didn't even get as far as having my order taken.There were a few people already seated when I arrived with my wife. Half full at most. We took a seat, selected our food and drinks from the menu, and waited. And waited. And waited.People coming in after us were warned by a lone waitress that there was a wait of at least half an hour for food once ordered. The same waitress had seated us and not said anything about a wait.Even though we were hoping to return for the next train on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, we continued to wait. And wait. And wait.It was just over 25 minutes into our wait that we decided to abandon the effort. It was only then, as we were stood and heading for the door, that the waitress finally addressed us and assured that we would be the next to have our order taken. Too little and too late, I'm afraid, as we had already decided to try elsewhere.I appreciate the restaurant may have been understaffed, but this was a Saturday afternoon and they should have been better prepared. The waitress also should have kept us better informed, as she did with other customers. Ultimately, I can only rate the service I received, and the service I received here is only worth one star at most.
Second time coming here really nice food again and friendly staff...we will be back
Im so impressed with Taste. Excellent food and great value for money, friendly attentive staff, lovely and lively atmosphere. Highly recommended and will be back to try more of the menu.
